Weekends!

I am a fan of weekends, because I can depart from the week's schedule.

Mostly, I believe, that people act differently on weekends. They have shed off the hectic state of things or are just about to do that on weekends. So people are less worried about the week and gravitate toward recreation and leisure.

This is SO important for the health and state of humans, especially during a war-torn and economically - challenged period.

I can usually tell if a person is functioning as a work-a-holic or is able to separate their weekend from their week. I have always had low blood pressure, but people I know, not so. So I value time alone from people for this major reason.

They need the weekend to unwind.

Unfortunately, if all your friends are work-a-holics or are codependent personalities, they know how to find you.

Sigh!

I was against the health care at stuff (nothing against OBAMA), but if this stuff pans out, this is a volatile area to get these people off my back.

Sigh again!

Weekend Leisure:

*had coffee and chatted
*listened to radio and music
*listened to You Tube
*was on the internet
*played with cats
*de-stressed the cats
*stayed alone

So far, so good!

Now, I am going to write a devotion for the day. That is fun.
I am not Mrs. (Chas.) Cowman, but I think I will make an area for me, where I can
practice meditation every once in a while.

April is Poetry Month!

Hooray!

I love to read poetry. I hope there is some new stuff online.
I found this guy's poetry once. It's under a blog called:

I think he is a true poet!!!!!!!!!!!
He reads like a song-writer, too.

I like it that no one can find me today to hit on me with
words and gestures. I like being away from that immensely.
I think everyone should get a break from that monomaniacal pursuit.
Even celebz! I empathize with them. When can they take a break being
a persona from their films or programs?

Lucia Mendez had a song on this from years back. I think when I find it, I will post it here.
